Rubicon Soft Skill Training

Report on Soft Skill Training 2023-24

            A career guidance training program of 3 days was conducted from 20th Sept. 2023 to 22th Sept. 2023 for the third year students of all department under career guidance educational training program at Ashokrao Mane Polytechnic, Vathar Tarf Vadgaon. This training was organized by Training & Placement Cell of Ashokrao Mane Polytechnic and the resource person was Mrs. Tanushree Ghosh-Shinde from Rubicon Skill Development Pvt. Ltd., Barclays-NASSCOM.

            During the formal Inaugural session, Mr. F. B. A. Amin (T&P Officer) welcomed all dignitaries and all students and introduced the resource person to all students. While addressing the students, Prof. Y. R. Gurav (Principal, AMP) focused on efforts of  Management and college administration for providing state-of-the art facilities to the students of Ashokrao Mane Polytecnic.     

            In the first day session, students were introduced to organizational structure, Goal Setting  and  SWOT analysis along with ice breaking. In this session students got the idea about how organizations works in different sectors as well as the information about different Job/ educational opportunities with govt. and private sectors in India as well as abroad.

            During second day session, student were introduced to public speaking, corporate jargons along with English communication. Recourse explained the different methods and techniques to prepare power point presentation  and the presentation skills. Students also got the information about etiquettes of email writing and telephonic communication.

            In the third day session, students played different group activities to know importance of team work and to what are the qualities of good leadership. Apart from group activities students got the knowledge about personal interview through Mock interviews and learnt how to keep their body language during interview. Students got the information about resume/CV writing.

            All three days sessions were very interactive and students took active part in every group activity and understanding of each and every topic. At the end of third day session, a vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. S. F. Amin (HOD E&TC Engg.) towards the resource person, T&P Coordinators all of departments as well as students for their cooperation to complete this training program successfully. Total 120 students of all departments were the beneficiaries of this training program
